Handprint painting

Age Group: 2-6

Preparation Time: 10 Mins

What you will need: Washable paint, Paper.

Use a piece of paper and some washable paint. Make sure the label reads ‘non-toxic’ and ‘washable’. You can also make your own paint with flour,  water and food colouring.

Show the children the different patterns you can make when using fingers as opposed to palms, also show how you can make multiple lines as opposed to one.

You can also use different visuals such as spots, circles, faded lines and experiment with different colours.

Try using your child’s handprints or footprints to make cards.

Post the cards to friends & family with greeting messages attached.
